Global medical artificial intelligence (AI) company AIDOT announced that it will conduct a Proof of Concept (POC) for its AI-powered cervical cancer diagnostic system with Hue Central Hospital in Vietnam, accelerating its expansion into the Southeast Asian digital healthcare market.

On August 7, AIDOT announced that it successfully completed the signing of a POC agreement for its AI medical solution, a technical presentation, and an expert panel discussion during the Korea–Vietnam Digital Health Conference, held at Hue Central Hospital.

The symposium was jointly hosted by the Gangwon State Government, the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), and Hue Central Hospital, bringing together approximately 300 participants from government health authorities, medical institutions, and IT companies from both Korea and Vietnam. The event aimed to establish a practical framework for collaboration in the field of medical AI between the two countries.

During the event, AIDOT officially announced that it will carry out a POC for its AI cervical cancer diagnostic system, Cerviray AI, at Hue Central Hospital.

In the technical presentation session, Dr. Hansol Choi, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Head of the AI Research Center at AIDOT, delivered a presentation titled "Development and Clinical Application of an AI Cervical Cancer Diagnostic System." He introduced the advancement of AIDOT's proprietary AI clinical algorithms and highlighted successful deployments in global healthcare settings, attracting significant attention from local medical professionals and industry participants.

During the panel discussion, CEO Jaehoon Jeong emphasized the importance of conducting thorough validation in collaboration with local Vietnamese hospitals based on Korea's high-quality clinical data and proven suitability.

"If companies distort or misrepresent domestic clinical results simply for export purposes, any resulting issues would not only damage individual companies but also seriously undermine the credibility of Korea's entire medical AI industry and its international clinical validation initiatives."

He further stated that:

"AIDOT is committed to providing high-quality AI technology that is fully optimized for Vietnam's healthcare environment through transparent and rigorously validated domestic and international clinical verification processes."

Cerviray AI is an AI-powered solution that analyzes cervical images in real time, enabling rapid and accurate detection of cervical cancer and precancerous lesions.
