AIDOT (CEO Jeong Jae-hoon), an AI-based medical image diagnostic solutions company, announced on the 23rd that it has signed an exclusive supply agreement with China's large-scale medical distribution enterprise, Guorun International Medical Group, for its AI-powered cervical cancer diagnostic solution, "Cerviray AI."
After closely verifying the diagnostic accuracy and clinical data of "Cerviray AI" during the review of various AI-based cervical cancer candidate solutions, Guorun International Medical Group designated AIDOT as its partner.
Both companies are pursuing the registration in the Hainan Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone as their top priority.
The Lecheng Pilot Zone is China's only special zone that supports the early clinical use of overseas innovative medical devices and the acquisition of real-world evidence (RWE). To date, over 600 innovative pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and foods for special medical purposes have completed their first clinical uses in China here.
Apart from the registration procedures, with the goal of completing the first clinical application within the Lecheng Pilot Zone prior to registration, both companies plan to announce the clinical results at the "2nd Boao Lecheng International Innovative Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Expo," which will be held in Hainan on November 20.
AIDOT was officially invited and participated in this expo upon the recommendation of the Guorun side, and has confirmed a presentation in a breakout session centered on AI-based healthcare among the event's forums.
Choi Han-sol, Head of AIDOT's Research Institute, stated, "The beginning of this joint forum with Guorun Medical is the result of Cerviray AI's technological prowess and clinical utility being recognized through a rigorous verification process," adding, "We plan to make a full-scale entry into China using the Lecheng Pilot Zone registration and the announcement of clinical achievements as stepping stones."
